A Research and Publication Ethics

Indian institutions (459 universities having 33,0903 colleges) have a long way to go in academic research in general to reach International standards. In a survey that has been carried out by HEI (Higher Education Institutions) in 2018 approximately 0.5% of students are enrolling for Ph.D. of the 36.6 million students enrolled at various higher education institutions in the country in 2017-18.

Every year many research scholars are submitting PG dissertation/Project work, Ph.D. Thesis.  In the age of ICT and the Cyber World and with the growth of the Globalization of Information and scholars, it is very common incidents to found plagiarized work. Plagiarism has become a serious issue in research work especially in writing a thesis and Research paper writing. As information is easily available in the cyber-world, a scholar can get pray for plagiarism work by copy and paste the material from various sites.

So to curb this UGC on dated 9 Aug. 2017, come with an idea to bring the Publication and Ethics culture among researchers by introducing a paper called Research & Publication Ethics as a part of PCW (Ph.D. Course Work) across all the Universities.

Considering this, the book covers the entire syllabus with a comprehensive practical-oriented approach and also included the MCQ at the end of each chapter which we intend to provide, we hope this book will satisfy the need of Ph.D. research scholars across India.
